What We Believe

Second Reformed Church holds to the inspired Word of God as the only rule for faith and practice.

As a Reformed Church we also hold to the historical Reformed Confessions.  These include the Belgic Confession, the Heidelberg Catechism, and the Canons of Dort.  We celebrate two sacraments: the Lord’s Supper and baptism.  These are a sign and seal of God promises that are received by grace through faith.

We also hold to the three ecumenical creeds which are the Apostles Creed, the Nicene Creed, and the Athanasian Creed.

Second Reformed Church is a congregation of the Reformed Church in America.
